Non skiers, young children and babies can all join in the skiing fun by using the tele cabin to access the higher mountain areas. Lunch can be enjoyed together high in the mountains or the skiers can ski down to the village to meet non-skiers at the chalet or in a village restaurant.
The location of Chalet Perdu gives everyone freedom - après ski, shopping, spa treatments, skating, children's entertainment at the outdoor ice rink or the cinema, and of course doorstep skiing.
Les Gets is a truly magical place and if you have never been to the Alps you will be totally blown away by the atmosphere, the mountain air and the scenery - imagine standing up on a snowy mountain and looking across at Mont Blanc and the Alps unfolding in front of you in one direction and looking down to Lake Geneva to the other, although the locals say that when you can see the lake its a sign of severe weather approaching. The restaurants on the mountain are simply beautiful, log fires, hot wine, crepes, fabulous barbeque lunches and even homemade macaroons with morning champagne.
The picturesque & sophisticated village of Les Gets, is part of the extensive Porte du Soleil ski area which links the French and Swiss ski areas It has retained its village charm and has a slick system of lifts and snow management.
