At Chalet Henriette we provide catered or self-catered accommodation for skiing, climbing and walking holidays within the stunning Grand Massif area of the French Alps. (Self-catered only during summer 2010).

We offer high quality accommodation in a homely and welcoming chalet, with 5 ensuite bedrooms sleeping 10-12.

Owner run, we (Nick & Kath Donohue) provide a uniquely personal service with excellent home cooking (and quality wines), and in-depth local knowledge on mountain activities and wildlife spotting.

For catered holidays we provide local minibus transport (with a CHOICE of which lifts / walks we drop / pick up from), accompanied skiing and help with booking lessons and equipment etc as... more

LOCATION

• Within the Grand Massif ski area, only 1 hr 15 mins transfer from Geneva.
• The chalet is set in a traditional village with spectacular views of limestone cliffs, forest and waterfalls.
• Easy walking distance from local lifts & pistes.
• Unrivalled access to summer walking & biking trails.
•10 minutes drive from Samoens - we provide a minibus service to/from the telecabines at Samoens & Morillon (free 'ski bus' connections in winter).
• Ski down to our village from Flaine via the 14km Piste de Cascade!

Delicious home-cooked food and lots of it! Quality wines with evening meals. Whilst providing a treat we aim to make our food 'non-fussy'. We can cater for all dietary requirements; excellent vegetarian alternatives. Please see Availability notes and our own website for further details.
