Le Mazot is a little mountain lodgef just for two guests. For 200 years used as place of storage for treasured possessions- porcelain, clothes, and personal mementoes were all at high risk of fire in the old wooded farmhouses of the village. Mazots are rare protected architectural buildings of the Haute Savoie and le Mazot has been carefully restored in the Les Gets conservation area to offer 2 guests luxury self contained accomodation.

Upstairs the bedroom is decorated in traditional alpine colours, a king size sleigh bed, sumptious feather duvet, crisp cotton linen and occasional pieces of antique furniture create a mellow welcoming retreat. Tea & coffee making facilities are provided -Tv / Dvd player / Bose ipod dock too

Outside you will find a candlelit terrace with a table and chairs for two facing south and an afternoon terrace facing west with teak steamer chairs - perfect for relaxing on return from skiing

The outdoor hot tub has wonderful views to the west. Robes provided.

The narrow twisting staircase from the bedroom leads to a luxury bathroom with freestanding bath, separate shower, heated towel rail, limestone tiles - modern pleasures too such as enormous fluffy towels, towelling robes and slippers complete the Mazot package.

Special honeymoon options available

A breakfast hamper is delivered 6 mornings per week and champagne awaits your return from skiing. Dinner is not provided and this is a fabulous opportunity to dine in the some of the finest alpine restuarants. Les gets has retained its uniquely French Savoyard village heart and has a history of French gouremt skiing. Fine dining is also found on the mountain. For lunch a ski to restaurant route planner is provided and reservations made to ensure the best tables. Dinner reservations can be made or simply stroll through the twinkling village and choose. Its conservation status and eco tourism ethos has ensured that commercialism has not harmed the village.

A daily maid service is provided and help and advice is available from the Chalet staff.

Ideal for a weekend getaway, skis will be waiting on arrival with lift passes - just over one hour from Geneva Airport to on piste skiing - self drive or private transfers arranged.
