LOCATION

Ramsau am Dachstein is a traditional alpine village set on a sunny plateau at 1140m above the major World Cup ski resort of Schladming and at the foot of the mighty Dachstein Glacier.
Ramsau is just 1 hours easy drive from Salzburg airport and 2.5 hours from Munich, transfers can be organised.
The Chalet is just 15 mins relatively level walk from the pretty village center with its shops bars and restaurants. Schladming is also just 9 mins drive away or a short taxi/bus ride.
We offer a ski shuttle service to & from the slopes, for those without cars, either as part of a package or for an additional small charge.

Ramsau is part of the massive Ski Amade, the largest ski area in Austria with 860 km of piste on one lift pass, covering 23 ski resorts. There are 40km of piste in Ramsau including the Dachstein Galcier and 189km in Schaldming over 4 interlinked mountains.
There is one sunny blue piste, 800 long, just 100 meters from the house which is ideal for beginners / children.

The Chalet itself is located directly on one of the 200km of Cross Country Ski Tracks so for those wishing to try Lang-Lauf the location is Ski In /Ski Out!

There are host of activities available locally such as Night Sledging, Guided Snow Shoe Treking, Cross Country Skiing, Dachstein Glacier Crossing on skis or snow shoes, Dachstein Ice Palace, Sleigh Rides, Horse Riding, swimming, spa and much more......
