Property Description

Bilberry - the barn is a beautiful, very warm old detached property.

It has been transformed into luxurious accommodation with fully fitted kitchen, a large living area with the dining table.

There are 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.

The furnishings have been chosen to create a warm cozy ambiance, so whether you visit in winter or summer you won't be disappointed.

All the bedding is high thread Egyptian cotton, the towels are large thick fluffy bath sheets with lots of Molton Brown toiletries.

For the summer it has it's own decked terrace in the garden and is next to the decked sun lounge and heated swimming pool area.

Location

For skiing - you couldn't get any nearer, as we are opposite the 8 man bubble 'Grand Massif Express' in the centre of Samoens village itself, 100m away.
Once off the lift you are straight onto snow and the very large beginners area, after that you are free to explore the 265kms of pistes plus lots of safe off piste as Samoens is part of the Grand Massif ski region.
The village is sheltered and flat so it is easy to walk around and there is plenty to keep non-skiers amused.

For summer - we are ideally located for all the activities and village, or for further adventures we are within a 1 hour drive of some spectacular site seeing.
If all that's too much, then just chill out on a sun lounger by our heated pool.

Facilities

We think it is ideally suited for up to 3 couples, or for a family of 10.

The dining table will comfortably seat 10.

The site's jacuzzi (winter months) is located next to the barn. Also the heated ski/boot room with boot driers, this is a bike room in the summer.

Kitchen:
Fully fitted kitchen with oven, ceramic hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, English toaster, kettle, Nespresso coffee machines, also foil, clingfilm, dishwasher tabs, washing up liquid and dishcloths, tea towels and a hand towel.

Living Rooms:
The barn has English TV, DVD player, free wifi, and our own home made damson gin.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms:
All the bedrooms have GHD hair driers.
For the ski season we provide Molton Brown toiletries & toilet rolls.

Ski welcome pack which has yorkshire tea, Nespresso coffee pods , sugar, crisps, biscuits, fresh milk, beers and our welcome freshly made cake.

Summer - we provide a freshly made cake for your arrival.

Washing: We are very happy to do babies, emergencies and summer washing, just not the contents of someone's suitcase as they are about to go home!

The ski room turns into a lockable bike room in the summer.

House Rules

No smoking or candles in the house.
Sorry but no pets allowed.
