Welcome to Grand Hibou, an exceptional chalet conveniently located just a short distance from the high-speed cable car that takes you to the snow-sure Avoriaz 1800. Beyond the winter delights, this area is also perfect for summer hiking trails and exploring the renowned Avoriaz bike park, among other exciting activities.

With its capacity to accommodate 14 guests in all ensuite bedrooms, Grand Hibou ensures comfort and privacy for everyone. Our dedicated team of 2-3 members will be at your service, providing attentive care throughout your stay. Additionally, we offer shuttle runs to and from the Prodain cable car, despite its mere 650-meter distance.

Designed as a catered chalet, Grand Hibou spans across three levels. The lower level comprises 5 ensuite bedrooms, complete with heated storage for your snow-sports gear, as well as a games room. On the second floor, you'll find 2 more ensuite bedrooms, along with an open plan lounge and kitchen area.

All our bedrooms are tastefully furnished, featuring luxurious linen for your utmost comfort. The inviting living area boasts ample seating for all guests, an inviting open fireplace, and floor-to-ceiling windows that offer captivating views while our chef and team prepare and serve your meals.

This chalet features 5 spacious en-suite bedrooms, with the flexibility to convert 4 of them into triple rooms if desired. On the balcony, you'll find a relaxing hot tub, perfect for unwinding after an adventure-filled day. The large open plan lounge provides comfortable seating arrangements and a cozy log burner. As an added bonus, there's even a separate snug room on the first floor, allowing for additional relaxation and entertainment space.

During the winter season, Grand Hibou is available as a catered chalet, ensuring an exquisite experience from December to April. In the summer, you have the flexibility to choose between self-catered or catered options, allowing you to tailor your stay to your preferences.

Location

We provide a convenient and exclusive private shuttle service for all our catered guests, available daily between 8:30 AM and 9:15 AM, as well as between 4:30 PM and 5:30 PM. This service ensures that you have seamless transportation to and from the chalet, adding an extra touch of convenience to your stay.

For those who prefer public transportation, the chalet is conveniently located just 200 meters away from a free and frequent bus stop. The short walk from the chalet to the cable car not only offers a chance to warm up your ski legs but also provides easy access to the slopes.

The cable car is the quickest route to Avoriaz 1800, with a travel time of less than five minutes. This allows you to enjoy swift and effortless access to the heart of the skiing area, maximizing your time on the slopes and minimizing any unnecessary travel.

While we cannot yet confirm the possibility of skiing back to the chalet this year, we are excited to explore this option. As we are in our first year with this chalet, we are continually evaluating and enhancing the services we offer to ensure the best possible experience for our guests.

Our check-in time is scheduled for 5:00 PM, allowing us ample time to prepare the chalet and ensure that it meets our high standards of cleanliness and comfort for your arrival. We kindly request your cooperation in adhering to this check-in time to ensure a smooth and enjoyable start to your stay.

For check-out, we kindly ask that you vacate the chalet by 10:00 AM. This allows our team to prepare the chalet for our next guests and maintain our commitment to delivering exceptional experiences to all our visitors.
