Once you are here, just park up the car and forget it! Chalet Joubarbe is on the edge of the village of Chinaillon (300m), so it's just a short stroll to fetch fresh bread from the boulangerie in the morning or for a tasty local meal in the evening.

The large light-filled living area on the first floor of Chalet Joubarbe makes the most of the fabulous views, and opens on to a large sunny terrace so you can get even closer to the mountains.

There's room for more than one chef in the well-equipped kitchen, so you can share the cooking before all sitting down to eat at the huge dining table. After dinner, retire to the cosy leather sofas where you can watch a film on the big screen TV complete with surround sound or enjoy the night sky from the furnished terrace.

With five bedrooms and three bathrooms set over three floors, there's plenty of room for up to 13 people - and possibly two other guests if needed!

Please note: the outdoor play area is common to three chalets and is available between the end of April until 15th November. If you have booked an off season stay (May-June and Sept to December), we suggest that you stop in Grand-Bornand on your way to the chalet to stock on food. As local shops are closed at Chinaillon at this time of year.
