Chalet Pere Marie sleeps up to 24 across 10 well equipped, en suite bedrooms.
Chalet Pere Marie was beautifully renovated in 2012 but has kept the rustic charm of the century old Chalet, thanks to widespread use of old and new timber, to give you the authentic Alps experience. The three floor Chalet has everything you need, connected by a beautiful stone spiral staircase.
On the top floor you will find the open plan living and dining area with ample seating and a wood burning stove for comfortable nights in. This is accompanied by huge picture windows looking out over a large balcony and the valley below. You can gaze upon the towns of La Rosiere and Sainte Foy, as they are light up in the evenings.
There are 10 en-suite bedrooms, many of which have a balcony or access to the terrace, as well as all having a flatscreen TV with satellite channels. There are quad, triple, double and twin rooms.
You will find the ski and boot store on the ground floor, with a separate entrance and boot heaters. The sauna can also be found on the ground floor.
Short breaks and chalet sharing is available with flexible arrival and departure dates. We aim to provide you with the maximum time on the slopes staying any length of time starting from 3 nights, taking advantage of low cost midweek flights. With our transfer service leaving Geneva daily at around 19.30 there is no need to worry about how you will get to the slopes!
On arrival at Pere Marie you will be served with a hot supper and your lift pass will be ready and waiting. You will be greeted every morning by a substantial breakfast with hot option. Tea and homemade cakes are served every afternoon and once you have had time to relax and maybe soothe your aching muscles in the hot tub you can enjoy a 3 course dinner with free flowing wine.
On departure day, you will be able to get virtually a full days skiing and retain the use of your room until shortly before our transfer vehicle departs for Geneva around 4pm (suitable for flights taking off after 8.30 pm or spending a night in Geneva for a morning flight home).
IN-HOUSE EQUIPMENT HIRE: save precious ski time by pre-arranging your equipment before you travel at competitive rates. Our resident ski-tech will fit you on arrival so you can catch that first lift!
Rates INCLUDE a full ski pass for the duration of your stay.
Chalet Pere Marie is situated in the quiet hamlet of Le Pre, Villaroger, a completely unspoiled village that retains heaps of old world charm and beauty. Villaroger has not been overrun by tourism, continuing to house many local people.
Pere Marie has a superb location approximately 80 metres from the lift connecting you to Arcs 2000. Snow conditions permitting you can ski back to the door.
Although there are no shops in Villaroger, there is a well-renowned restaurant near the end of the piste, where many stop for lunch whilst skiing down the epic Aiguille Rouge.
