    Our award winning chalet Flocon des Neiges is situated 20m from the piste in Reberty Village in Les Menuires.
    Flocon Des Neiges is a traditional, wooden built chalet filled with character and charm. Steve and Francesca have made Flocon Des Neiges into a homely and cosy chalet so that you feel as relaxed and comfortable as possible.

    In running the chalet Flocon des Neiges, we believe that a personal touch is vital to ensure that our clients' experience is as rewarding as possible. To this end, we visit the chalets regularly both to meet every guest that stays with us, and also to answer any questions and offer assistance where necessary.

    To outline the level of food we aim to maintain at Powder N Shine, we have employed excellent professional Chefs with backgrounds at some of the best restaurants in Europe: The Fat Duck, The Waterside Inn (both 3* Michelin), Gordon Ramsay’s Petrus (2*), and Noma – currently widely regarded as the best restaurant in the world.

    We are an owner-run, independent, catered ski chalet business offering quality accommodation, outstanding food and wine combined with exceptional personal service tailored to our clients needs.

    We are available in the Summer to rent our chalet on a Bed & Breakfast / self-catered / catered basis. Please contact us with your specific requirements.

  • One of the most important factors in ensuring every guest has a memorable experience is to provide the very best cuisine we possibly can for everyone in the chalet – which includes healthy and delicious meals for children and also for all manner of dietary requirements. To this end, we only employ highly qualified professional Chefs who have almost always worked in Fine Dining and/or Michelin-starred restaurants. Examples of some World-class restaurants previous (and current) Chefs have worked at are:

    The Fat Duck
    The Ledbury
    The Kitchin
    To accompany the great cuisine, we also aim to provide great wines, which are hand picked and paired with main courses during your week’s stay with us. We have a selection of predominantly French wines, with a couple of wines also from further afield. It is worth noting that few will love every single wine as we aim to cover a wide spectrum, but we are confident that you will find at least a few to your taste, and we hope you enjoy sampling such a variety of wines.
    We also have complimentary house red and white on offer throughout your stay with us.

    For the duration of your stay, you can expect the following:

    Delicious breakfast consisting of pastries, fruit, yoghurts, juices, cereals, seeds and nuts, a continental option and a daily hot option (on the Chef’s day off there is no hot option but a selection of other elements as above)
    Afternoon tea – tasty treats to welcome you back from the pistes – such as cakes, biscuits, muffins, scones etc. (served every day)
    Canapés and aperitifs, served just before dinner (not served on staff day off)
    Refined three-course dinner served with wines and a cheese course afterwards for those who wish to partake, followed by teas and coffees (not served on staff day off)
    For those with dietary requirements (including strong dislikes), our Chefs are all well versed in accommodating these needs, as we have experienced many different allergies and needs over the years. It is imperative that we know about these in advance of your visit, in order to fully cater for you. Failure to inform us prior to your arrival can lead to difficulties in reacting to your needs when in resort and will certainly limit the flair with which your requirements can be met.
  • At Powder N Shine, we believe that it is imperative to provide excellent service to all guests at all times. We are blessed to be in such a great location, but on top of that we want to try to exceed our guests’ expectations wherever possible, and to maintain the really great feedback we receive both in resort and on TripAdvisor.

    Logistically, this means that each catered chalet has a Chalet Chef dedicated to that chalet, plus two Chalet Hosts. We also have a Resort Manager who is present at all times in the village, plus Owners Francesca and Steve are also often in the chalets, ensuring that everything is running as it should be. You will also liaise predominantly with Francesca during the booking process, so it is always nice to put faces to names and likewise to welcome back many familiar faces. At Powder N Shine, in order to excel in all areas of service, we strive to recruit the very best candidates in our roles of Chalet Hosts and Chalet Chefs to ensure that every guest’s stay is excellent.

  • Reberty Village (2000) is one of the best kept secrets of the Three Valleys, offering tradition, charm, exceptional ski-in and ski-out accommodation, and excellent snow conditions throughout the season due to its favourable positioning at 2000m.
    Reberty Village is a small hamlet of traditional wooden chalets situated between Val Thorens and Les Menuires in the Three Valleys. The village is situated at an altitude of 2000m and benefits from being a ski-in / ski-out resort.
    The village is well equipped with a ski school, two ski shops, a local convenience store, a pizzeria (L'Igloo) offering excellent home-made pizzas, and a traditional French restaurant and bar, La Ferme de Reberty. Other wonderful restaurants are located close by (L'Ours Blanc and Le Cocon Des Neiges) and for those that really want to spoil themselves on the hosts' night off, there is a 2-star Michelin restaurant, La Bouitte, situated just down the road in St Marcel - they even offer a pick-up and drop-off service.

    There are a number of nightspots that can be reached with ease in La Croisette and Bruyeres (Les Menuires) and the lively Val Thorens is accessible by taxi.
