This stylish ski chalet in the heart of the old village of Argentiere sleeps 13 people in six comfortable bedrooms. It's just a few minutes walk from all the village shops, bars and restaurants and the free local bus will take you to the pistes at Les Grands Montets - the biggest ski resort in the Chamonix valley.

And when you return to your chalet at the end of an exhilarating day, you can stash your skis in the locker, put your boots on the heated rack and relax in your own private sauna or in the hot tub on the terrace, soaking up the views of Mont Blanc and Les Grands Montets.

Although it was only built in 2013, the use of old wood gives it all the ambience of a traditional mountain chalet. Accommodation is set over four floors. In the basement you'll find the cinema room with satellite TV, CD/DVD Player, Apple TV and multimedia movie system and the sauna with shower, as well as the laundry room and ski store. There's also a bedroom here, with a single bed and a set of bunk beds and a shower room.

There are four more en suite bedrooms on the ground floor, which can be made up with twin or kingsize beds.
The open plan living area is on the first floor. The light, bright kitchen has everything you need to cook for a hungry crowd, and there's plenty of room at the dining table for you to sit down and eat together. After dinner you can catch up on your day on the large sofa in front of the fire, or there's a separate TV area.

Doors open from the living area on to the large terrace, where you can soak up the sun, watch for shooting stars or simply enjoy the great views and the crisp mountain air.

The top floor of the chalet is devoted to the elegant master suite with an open bathroom.
