1) Availability

It's essential to get your prices loaded up as soon as possible. We're already getting enquiries for next season, those who have prices get the majority of the enquiries.

2) New Images?

Images are a massive factor in holiday-maker decision making. We know that the better images on an advert, the better the enquiry and booking level.

3) Families & Transfers

We've recently added sections to adverts for family facilities, childcare, in-resort transfers or airport transfers as part of the service. Add your information ASAP!

IS YOUR ADVERT MAP CORRECT?

The presence of a map in your advert is helpful to holidaymakers and will have a small effect on your enquiry level. This year we'll be using map locations in news ways to further enhance the user experience on ChaletFinder. It will eventually become mandatory to have correct GPS coordinates in your advert, we hope we can get them all loaded up and correct over the next 6 months or so. If you have any trouble at all finding your GPS coordaintes, you might find our AdminFinder help page useful. LOOKING FOR STAFF?

The Summit will soon launch a jobs section. Our advertisers are free to post jobs directly with no charge! We will market this page as widely as possible to our network of social media followers & email subscribers. By next season we hope to have interested seasonnaires hunting through these jobs & contacting advertisers. FRAUD WARNING

So far this season we have heard of several instances of holiday fraud.

We are very keen to limit the fraudulent activity in our industry and are working on ways we can make a difference. The vast majority of the fraud we've investigated has occurred for one reason. A holiday business' email account has been hacked. This can happen in several ways but is nearly always down to passwords being obtained through trickery.

We want to stress to our advertisers how much of a role you play in maintaining security for your customers and our industry as a whole. There are a few simple steps to be taken to limit risk and many more for those who are keen to be almost 100% secure. We are more than happy to advise & investigate issues on your behalf at no extra charge. We encourage you to take us up on this offer if you have any doubts about your security.

So far we have seen no examples of hackers imitating ChaletFinder so as to gain your AdminFinder password. We'd like to remind you to keep this in mind. If you receive any emails seemingly from ChaletFinder that give you a direct link to our admin area it may be a scam. If you have any doubts at all, please contact us & report the suspicious email. We can verify the email & investigate any suspicious circumstances.
