If you’re looking for reliable snow, high altitude skiing and a charming Swiss village then look no further than Saas-Fee. Although it has grown from its humble beginnings, Saas-Fee retains a lot of character and old cow sheds are still dotted around in and amongst the more modern hotels and chalets. It is slightly spread out, but this makes it a great place to wander around after a day of skiing – be sure to stop off in one of cosy bars for a glühwein.
