The mainly high pistes pretty much guarantee good snow throughout the whole season and with an Aravis Lift Pass you can ski, or snowboard, any of the 158 pistes in the resorts of La Clusaz, Le Grand Bornand, Manigod and Saint Jean de Sixt. In particular, the runs around Le Grand Bornand allow you to take in rustic charm of the area as you ski down peaceful tree- lined mountain paths among rustic farmhouses. A lively après ski is also on offer here in both La Clusaz and Le Grand Bornand where there are a variety of places to eat and drink and where the local cuisine highly recommended (Aravis being home to reblochon cheese and the tartiflette).
