La Plagne 1800 is one of the 11 settlements that makes up the broader La Plagne skiing resort. Sitting at 1800m, it is at the lowest end of the resort, but it is well connected to the skiing area by a cable car which climbs to La Grande Rochette, situated at 2500m.
