Welcoming you to the heart of Ski La Source, is our treasured Catered Chalet Mathilde. Tucked away 5mins walk from the charming village of Les Coches, it stands amidst a vast 420km of skiing wonderland. The chalet's doorstep is a mere 30m away from the piste, and just a 150m from the gateway chairlift, offering you the luxury of ski in/ski out.

We also offer a minibus service (once in the morning and once in the evening) to and from the lift in Les Coches to assist beginners, children or those with access needs.

Inside Chalet Mathilde, you'll be connected with complimentary wifi and embraced by the warm allure of a crackling log fire. The spacious lounge comfortably seats all 14 guests. As you unwind, let the day's stories flow in the private jacuzzi, where the majestic silhouette of Mont Blanc forms the backdrop. And for those mornings when the chill is just a tad sharper, our boot warmer ensures your adventures start with warm, happy feet.

But the heart of Chalet Mathilde, truly lies in its hospitality. Our duo of dedicated chalet hosts, ably supported by our resort representatives, are ever-present to cater to your every need. Their culinary prowess has many of our guests returning, season after season, to relish our delectable home-cooked meals. Location

We are situated in the mountain village of Les Coches (1450m) just 30m from the piste and in the heart of the Paradiski area linking La Plagne and Les Arcs. Montchavin is a picturesque village of traditional style buildings with a combination of old world character and contemporary comfort. This is a great little village with several welcoming bars. Great for skiers and non-skiers alike.

The ski area of La Plagne has something for everybody. There are two areas specifically for beginners. The wide blues and reds are perfect for intermediates and the blacks and Bellecote Glacier are testing enough for any advanced skier or boarder. The famous off-piste route down the North Face of the Bellecote Peak is well worth experiencing - you will need a qualified guide to show the way, we can both vouch for the fact that it is AWESOME.

This is also a great area for boarders, beginners and experts alike. There are some fantastic cruisy blues to get you started, a great off-piste playground, half pipe, board parks and boarder cross. The size of the La Plagne ski area means there are plenty of day trips visiting other linked ski stations such as Montalbert and Champagny.

Our young diners can also be provided with an earlier meal by arrangement.
Breakfast alternates between a choice of cooked options, and a continental buffet.
Afternoon tea with cake
A 3-course evening meal 5 nights a week completes the culinary journey.
Our Chalet Team enjoys two full days off, on Mondays and Wednesdays. On a Monday we will give you the option of raclette or pizza (inclusive), and on Wednesday you are free to explore local dining options or order a takeaway.
