The chalet's doorstep is a mere 30m away from the piste, and just a 150m from the gateway chairlift, offering you the luxury of ski in/ski out.

As you unwind, let the day's stories flow in the private jacuzzi, where the majestic silhouette of Mont Blanc forms the backdrop. But the heart of Chalet Mathilde, truly lies in its hospitality. Our duo of dedicated chalet hosts, ably supported by our resort representatives, are ever-present to cater to your every need. Their culinary prowess has many of our guests returning, season after season, to relish our delectable home-cooked meals. Our commitment to celebrating fresh produce shines through, especially when curating vegetarian and vegan menus. Whether it's a dietary requirement or a personal preference, at Chalet Mathilde, every meal is an ode to the essence of Ski La Source — genuine, warm, and authentically unpretentious. Location

We are situated in the mountain village of Les Coches (1450m) just 30m from the piste and in the heart of the Paradiski area linking La Plagne and Les Arcs. This is a great little villa ge with several welcoming bars and restaurants. Montchavin a picturesque village of traditional style buildings with a combination of old world character and contemporary comfort is close by.
The ski area of La Plagne has something for everybody. There are two areas specifically for beginners. The wide blues and reds are perfect for intermediates and the blacks and Bellecote Glacier are testing enough for any advanced skier or boarder. The famous off-piste route down the North Face of the Bellecote Peak is well worth experiencing - you will need a qualified guide to show the way, we can both vouch for the fact that it is AWESOME.

This is also a great area for boarders, beginners and experts alike. There are some fantastic cruisy blues to get you started, a great off-piste playground, half pipe, board parks and boarder cross. The size of the La Plagne ski area means there are plenty of day trips visiting other linked ski stations such as Montalbert and Champagny.

*Catering Included:
A bespoke menu that aims to cater for different requirements, including vegetarians, vegans, and those with specific dietary needs. Our young diners can also be provided with an earlier meal by arrangement.
Breakfast primarily continental buffet with some cooked options.
Afternoon tea with freshly baked cake or biscuits
A 3-course evening meal x5 nights a week completes the culinary journey.
Our Chalet Team enjoys two full days off, on Mondays and Wednesdays. On a Monday we will give you the option of raclette or pizza (inclusive), and on Wednesday you are free to explore local dining options or order a takeaway.

Please be courteous to other guests and our neighbours, particulary late at night. No Smoking / Vaping or pets in the Chalet. We really do look after you so you can have a relaxing enjoyable holiday with good food.
