LA SOURCE SKI & ADVENTURE LTD / Ski-LaSource
We offer a good value for money ski holiday with service at the heart of our business - we really do look after you. We live in the village so we are on hand to help you have a good holiday. If you would like any recommendations for a great ski holiday then please let us know as all our bookings to date for this season have all stayed with us before, 2 groups for 15 years and several for around 8 years.
Fed up with arriving in the resort not knowing where to go and what to do?
We will be on hand to help make things run smoothly. We offer to help with equipment hire, lessons (for example on your first lesson we introduce you to the meeting point & your ski instructor), lift passes (ready when you arrive - no queuing necessary), advise on the slopes (the best restaurants, the way back to the chalet etc) and help organise Saturday transfers.
Fed up with having to walk everywhere?
Firstly, our chalets are very close to the piste, equipment pick up and drop off (with your help!), lessons, ice-skating and bobraft. A nice addition, to finish your day off is to have a drink in a local bar and we will bring you back to the chalet, probably stopping for a drink with you! Mine's a G&T - cheers!
We are situated in the mountain village of Les Coches (1450m) just 50m from the piste and in the heart of the NEW Paradiski area linking La Plagne and Les Arcs. Montchavin is a picutresque village of traditional style buildings with a combination of old world character and contemporary comfort. This is a great little village with several welcoming bars.
The ski area of La Plagne has something for everybody. There are two areas specifically for beginners. The wide blues and reds are perfect for intermediates and the blacks and Bellecote Glacier are testing enough for any advanced skier or boarder. The famous off-piste route down the North Face of the Bellecote Peak is well worth experiencing - you will need a qualified guide to show the way, we can both vouch for the fact that it is AWESOME.
This is also a great area for boarders, beginners and experts alike. There are some fantastic cruisy blues to get you started, a great off-piste playground, half pipe, board parks and boarder cross. The size of the La Plagne ski area means there are plenty of day trips visiting other linked ski stations such as Montalbert and Champagny.
