You can forget about your car when you stay at this impressive chalet for 11 people - you'll have everything you need within a few steps of your front door!

This chalet is right in the heart of La Clusaz, next to the Patinoire and Beauregard lifts and the Champ Giguet, which is the ski school meeting place.

After an exhilarating day on the slopes, you can return to the chalet for a game of pool in the games room, or perhaps head out for a beer and a meal at one of La Clusaz's many restaurants.

Four of the chalet's six bedrooms are on the ground floor. There are two large doubles with ensuite shower rooms; a children's room with a bunk bed, a single bed and a pull-out bed and another large double room. There's also a shower room and a separate toilet.

There are two more large double bedrooms on the lower level, along with a bathroom and a separate toilet. The games room is a great place for older children to relax - with a pool table, a TV, sofa and mini kitchen, they can really make it their own space.

Also on the lower floor is the skiers' entrance, leading to a large hall with plenty of storage, a ski room with a heated boot rack and a washing machine and tumble dryer.

The main living area is on the top floor. There's a cosy seating area under the eaves, with sofas and chairs arranged around a suspended fireplace. There's room for everyone to eat together at the large dining table, and it's a pleasure to cook for a crowd in the well-equipped kitchen, with a five-ring hob, two ovens, a microwave oven, dishwasher and large fridge freezer. After dinner you could take your coffee out on to the private balcony.

A chalet for a large group in the centre of this popular resort is a real find, and this is no exception. It's the perfect choice for a group of friends, or perhaps for a family group with older children who want the independence to do their own thing.
