Property Description

Chalet Bleu is a newly extended and renovated chalet in Meribel. This chalet sleeps 10 guest in 5 very good size bedrooms, 3 of which are ensuite and 2 with their own bathrooms close by. The living area is huge with lots of seating around the log fire and also a separate area if you are looking for quiet. There is a large dining area with a very big table which seats 10 very comfortably. Amazing views up the mountain throughout the living area and also most of the bedrooms. There's also a separate TV/cinema room, great for kids or for adults later on in the evening to relax in front of. Large boot room with boot warmers and a full laundry area as well. This is a rare chalet in the fact that everything is spacious and of high quality, it has a lovely modern alpine charm about it.

If you want this chalet catered then we can certainly add that option. We have two options for catering, either the Premium Catered service or standard. For the Premium service we have teamed up with Jerry Mant who previously ran Chalet Bartavelle in Meribel for over 20 years to offer the same excellent service he used to offer in Chalet Bartavelle in Chalet Tarine.

The premium service will include:
Continental breakfast with hot option on 7 days
Afternoon tea with home-made cakes and cookies on 7 days
Apéritif and canapés on 5 nights
3 course dinner with wine on 5 nights
Cleaning on 5 days
Transfer to the main lift area in Meribel and a pick up service again in the afternoon on 6 days (excluding changeover day)

For the standard option we would use one of the independent chefs we work with here in Meribel. We give the chefs a very healthy budget so you really will not be disappointed. The catering includes breakfast with hot option on 6 days (on the chef’s day off items will be left out), afternoon tea and cake on 6 days and a 3 course dinner with good quality wine on 5 evenings. There would also be 2 mid stay cleans of the chalet.

Location

This chalet is situated in the village of Meribel Les Allues. Access to the slopes is either via the local Gondola or the free ski bus that runs until after midnight. If you are planning on driving every day to the Gondola in the village it would take around 2 minutes to get there, Meribel village around 7 minutes and a wee bit longer for Meribel Chaudanne. We actually do also highly recommend for groups to hire the ski lockers that are in Meribel Chaudanne this way there is no lugging around of equipment and also gives you options after skiing without worrying about the gear and having to walk around in ski boots. There are boot warmers in the lockers. A 4 person locker for the week cost 78 euros .

Facilities

Kitchen is very, very well stocked with all appliances you would expect. there are 2 dishwashers, a very large fridge freezer and a wine chiller. Lots of work space as well. Its open plan so no one gets to feel left out.

The generous living area has a modern enclosed wood burner (wood supplied) and dining room table that is more than large enough to seat 10 comfortably.

Lovey large boot room and laundry room, with boot warmers, Washing machine and tumble dryer. Lots of hanging space as well.

Enough Parking for up to 4 Cars

House Rules

No Pets, No Smoking. No events. No commercial photography . On departure the chalet must be left tidy as found and any moved furniture must be put back in their original position. If staying self catered, then all bins and recycling must be taken to the local bins, 2 minutes walk away and all dishes must be done (dishwasher loaded and started is ok).
No more than 10 guest unless you have spoken to us first, in case you have an extra child.
