Launching Chalet Bluebird last year, this stylish, boutique chalet has 5 modern ensuite bedrooms, sleeping up to 12.

Built over 4 floors, Chalet Bluebird’s interior has been beautifully designed with contemporary fittings and fixtures and the architect has used a blend of timber and stone to create a gorgeous chalet home.

The large open-plan dining room, lounge and kitchen is on the 3rd floor with stunning views of the mountains from the full-width balcony. Guests can enjoy restaurant-quality dining at the long wooden table, prepared by a professional chef; and there are plenty of comfortable sofas to choose from, all arranged cosily around the fireplace.

You will find the private, outdoor hot tub on the roof terrace, where you can soothe your body after a hard ski (hopefully following a bluebird day!), with a glass of Prosecco from the chalet bar.

The entrance hall has bootwarmers to ensure your ski boots are toasty warm in the mornings, and a lockable ski locker outside the front door for boards and skis.

There is also a very handy secure underground car park (2 free parking places) with convenient lift access to the chalet, ideal for anyone that wants to self-drive.

GOURMET CUISINE
We are the only company in Montchavin Les Coches to have always only employed professional chefs with restaurant experience, and over the last 13 years, we have had the pleasure of employing chefs who have worked with Michelin starred chefs like Raymond Blanc; appeared on Masterchef the Professionals, and others that worked in fine dining establishments across the world.

We provide restaurant quality, gourmet dining at affordable prices - and quantities to satisfy hungry skiers and snowboarders.

OUR SERVICE
We are an independent, family-run business and we make sure we go the extra mile to ensure our guests have a great holiday. We were nominated as 'Best UK Chalet Company' in the 2014 World Snow Awards, organised by the Daily Telegraph; we get a high number of returning guests and staff, and we organise all your ski holiday extras, such as transfers; lift passes, ski school and ski hire, so that you just have to arrive and enjoy your holiday, safe in the knowledge that it has all been expertly sorted.

Location

Located in Montchavin in Montchavin-Les Coches, one of the 11 resorts that make up La Plagne, Chalet Bluebird is in an undeniably fantastic location. Not only is it right by the ‘Coches’ cable car for extremely easy access to skiing (and where ski school meets), it is also opposite the Evolution2 shop, ideal for ski school and ski hire. On top of this, it’s only a very short 200m walk to the family-friendly village centre of Montchavin with its shops, restaurants and bars.

This great location means that it’s super easy to pop back to the chalet early (or have a lie-in and leave a bit later!) or arrange for the nanny to pick up the kids after ski school and bring them back to the comfort of the chalet.

There is also secure underground car parking (2 spots), which makes driving to the Alps very appealing – and no need to spend all morning clearing snow off your car when you leave!

Facilities

Chalet Bluebird has 5 bedrooms (4 double/twins and 1 family room, which has 1 double/twin + 2 full-size bunk beds). We provide complimentary toiletries, cotton bedding, soft towels and bathrobes. Each room can be made up into a double or a twin.
