About the space:
Chalet Chamois is in Méribel Village in the heart of the vast Three Valley ski area and can be relied upon to meet everyone’s needs for winter or summer holidays. It’s just 75m from the Golf chairlift and the bottom of the blue Lapin Piste. The apartment is a mix of traditional and contemporary alpine design with beautiful furnishings throughout. It is light and comfortable and the perfect place to spend time in the mountains.

Chamois is situated on the third floor of the apartment block and accessed by a lift. The entrance brings you into a beautiful open plan living space. The kitchen is well equipped and has an oval dining table that can be extended if needed. The good-sized living area benefits from a large cosy corner sofa with an open fire and french windows that open out onto a south facing balcony with views across the mountain, the bottom of the piste and chairlift. Equipped for outdoor dining it’s the perfect place to relax al fresco style!

A double bedroom with an en-suite is on the same level and the other two double bedrooms are upstairs where there is another bathroom. One of these bedrooms can be made into a twin room and the other has room for a camp bed or cot and also has french doors leading out onto another south facing balcony.

The apartment has access to a shared heated indoor pool, sauna, steam rooms, spa treatment room and gym. There is also a communal space that has a pool table and a children’s play area.

Méribel Village is a quiet spot nestled just outside the main centre of Méribel, popular with locals and visitors alike, it has a real community vibe to it. With unbeatable access to the slopes, a superb ski route home and all amenities close to hand, it’s a hidden gem.

Meribel Village has long been a very popular place to stay in the Meribel Valley. It offers easy access to the Golf chair lift, the blue Lapin Piste and the beginners area. There is a fantastic bakery, Spar minimarket, lift pass office, ski shop, Bo à Mil Restaurant and the popular Lodge du Village Après Ski bar and Restaurant which is renowned for great Après with live bands almost every evening.

One of the main perks of the Village is the high-speed Golf chairlift, there is never a queue and it can bring beginners, tired skiers and walkers down from the top. The chairlift takes you from the Village right up to the Altiport and main Méribel ski area, with connecting lifts to the resorts of Courchevel and Val Thorens. At the end of the day, you can ski all the way down the Lapin piste which is an easy blue run to the centre of the Village and straight to your chalet or Après!

Perhaps best of all staying in Méribel Village means you’ll miss the queues from the centre’s main lift area each morning, however if you do want to head to Meribel Centre then there is a regular and reliable free ski bus that runs throughout the day and into the evening. The bus stop is only a two-minute walk from your chalet and the 5-minute journey to Meribel leaves every 20 minutes throughout the day, starting early for those joining ski schools. For evenings out in Méribel the last bus runs until just after midnight, and taxis home are easy to find, costing around 20 Euros.
