Chalet Clemetine, is located in the pine tree hill side setting of Clos du Pre, close to the centre of Oz en Oisans Ski Resort. Oz en Oisans is a small, traffic free resort with a fir tree backdrop wherever you look and offers rapid access to 250km of world class skiing in the Alpe d'Huez.

The chalet has breath-taking views of the Belledonne Mountain Range and offers a spacious, modern, and bright setting with everything you need to make your dream holiday! The owners of Chalet Clemetine live in Oz en Oisans during the winter and are normally be on site to welcome their guests personally.

On the first floor you’ll find a ski and book rack and plenty of hooks to hand your coats, this leads to a large open plan living and dining room with a log burning fireplace, two large comfortable sofas, a flat screen UK satellite TV, CD and DVD player and numerous games. At the end of the living area there is also a large dining table seating 10 – perfect for those evening get-togethers!

Two patio doors lead onto a balcony which has been extended to run around three sides of the chalet and provides a great space to sit and relax with wonderful uninterrupted mountain views. The fully fitted and well-equipped kitchen offers access to the extended balcony via double patio doors. There is also an outdoor table and chairs, and a bench so that you can sit outdoors and enjoy the breath-taking views of Belledonne Mountain.

On the ground floor there are three comfortable bedrooms accessed from the lounge and steps leading to a fourth mezzanine bedroom, each with two single beds. There is also a toilet, a separate shower room with basin, cupboards and heated towel rail and a separate bathroom with bath and overhead shower, heated towel rail and basin with cupboards on this floor.

Location

Resort Facilities
The pedestrian resort of Oz is a ski resort in its own right, connecting to a larger area, and has its own green slopes and children’s area, ski schools, ski hire shops and a few bars and restaurants. Oz has a supermarket, a heated indoor swimming pool and a spa area with whirlpool, sauna and steam room, a climbing wall and an outdoor ice-rink in the winter.

In July and August you can also pick from:
Paintball (16 and over), an acrobatic park with swings, monkey bridges and zip wires to suit all levels of ability (from 3 years), tennis, swimming, archery, trampolines, canyoning and fishing.

Cable cars access high altitude lakes, glaciers, flora and fauna in a protected environment.
There are many cycle paths varying from easy routes through the valleys to various grades of mountain bike trails. Bikes can be hired in the village.

The resort is particularly suited to families, with most of the village pedestrianized and peaceful. The chalet is perfect for both winter and summer holidays. Oz en Oisans is a quiet resort, but with a fast ski lift connection to Alpe d'Huez and Vaujany offers great access and a huge ski area to explore. in the summer during July and August the resort of Oz en Oisans comes alive again providing a fantastic summer family experience Oz en Oisans Ski Resort

By Bus:
Grenoble bus station is served by buses from Grenoble and Lyon St Exupéry Airports. Every Saturday in winter, direct buses go to Oz Station. Bens Bus is a popular, economic, option.

House Rules

Notes on accommodation: The chalet is heated by underfloor heating which is supplemented by electric wall heaters and an open fire. There is also a travel cot and high chair, although cot bedding is not provided. The bedroom on the mezzanine floor is accessed by a set of steep stairs and may not be suitable for everybody. Outside: There are two balconies, one of which is provided with an outdoor table and chairs and a barbeque. Utility Room: The property has a washing machine, vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board, two drying racks and a hairdryer. End of week cleaning, provision of towels and bed linen is generally included in the price, but we reserve a right to charge an extra if we are not here to service the chalet ourselves. We ask guests to respect the chalet and perform general basic cleaning tasks when leaving the chalet.
