Centrally situated in the village of Les Collons at a snow-sure altitude of 1800 metres, Chalet Etoile Polaire is a luxurious recently builT chalet offering extremely spacious accommodation for families and groups of friends travelling together.
The chalet enjoys a great location, quietly set back from the main street of the village and only 100 metres from the main chairlift. All the amenities including shops, bars, restaurants and ski equipment/mountain bike hire are right on the doorstep. Guests will love the chalet’s sunny position and the uninterrupted panoramic views from its balcony along a spectacular mountain range to the Dent Blanche and the mighty Matterhorn.
Access is never a problem due to the chalet's position, quietly situated just off the village main street which is cleared of snow on a daily basis. In high season when snow cover permits, it is often possible to ski right back to the chalet front door.
On the ground floor you will find two double bedrooms, a bathroom, shower, bath and sauna, laundry room and separate ski boot/storage space. The open-plan living area is also on the ground floor and comes complete with a well-equipped kitchen with breakfast bar and stools, dining area with table and seating for up to 12 and a sitting room with comfy leather sofas, covered log fire and a lofty, vaulted ceiling. A wide wrap-round terrace takes full advantage of the sunshine and enjoys glorious, uninterrupted views across the Herens Valley to the mighty Matterhorn.
The first floor has a master bedroom with queen size double bed with private balcony, two twin bedrooms, one with full-size bunk beds plus a bathroom. There is parking for 2 cars in a garage behind the chalet. A short flight of steps leads down to the sun terrace and front door and the surrounding garden is laid out on a slope with wildflowers and natural vegetation.
