This unique farmhouse close to the village of Les Clefs was built in 1827 by a nobleman from Chambery who wanted a mountain retreat for occasional visits.

You'll need a car (with snow tyres and chains in the winter), but the stunning views from the chalet make the drive more than worth it. The nearest shops are a five-minute drive away in Thônes.

Covered steps lead up from the car park to the front door which opens on to the open plan living area and well equipped kitchen with a huge range cooker, a large dining table which easily seats 12, and a cosy seating area, with a flat screen television and doors on to the terrace. From the lounge you will access the sauna, the hammam and the indoor heated pool, as well as another double bedroom, a shower room and independent WC.

The outside space is a real feature of this property, with a large sunny terrace perfect for catching some sun and a covered dining area seating 12, which can be used all year round – the perfect place for enjoying dinner while the sun sets behind the mountains.

Please note there is a tenant living in a small apartment in Chalet Ladroit all year round. IMPORTANT : the wifi is not powerful enough to allow 12 people to work remotely (video call etc).
