Chalet Neus has a spacious lounge with roaring log fire and a wonderful atmosphere, perfect for social aperitifs and relaxed evenings.

Large sofas provide comfortable seating. Big windows offer spectacular views over the village, lake and mountains. French doors from the lounge lead onto the South facing terrace with outdoor furniture.

The chalet has a beautiful dining room set off from the lounge, with an impressive dining table, comfortably seating 10 people. Tea and coffee making facilities are always available for guests.

The entrance hall of the chalet has a cloakroom with toilet and washbasin plus hanging for coats and storage for shoes and gloves.

Chalet Neus - Bedrooms and ensuites

Chalet Neus has 5 bedrooms, all of which have ensuite facilities. 4 of the 5 bedrooms can be made up as king-size beds (160cm) or 2 single (80cm) beds (bedroom 1 is a permanent king-size bed). Beds are made up with crisp sheets, duvets and pillows. Soft bath towels, hand/hair towels & hot tub robes are provided.

Bedroom 1: King size bed with full height French door giving spectacular South facing view over the village, lake and mountains. Blackout shutter. Built in wardrobe with shelving. Ensuite bathroom with shower over the bath, washbasin and toilet. Ground floor.

Bedroom 2: King-size bed or 2 single beds with window with a view of the mountains. Blackout shutter. Built in wardrobe with shelving, bedside tables. Ensuite bathroom with shower over the bath, washbasin, toilet and heated towel rail. First floor.

Bedroom 3: King-size bed or 2 single beds, with balcony door to balcony with spectacular South-facing view over the village, lake and mountains. Blackout shutter. Built in wardrobe with shelving, bedside tables. Ensuite bathroom with shower over the bath, washbasin, toilet, window and heated towel rail. First floor.

Bedroom 4: King-size bed or 2 single beds, with balcony door to balcony with spectacular South facing views over the village, lake and mountains. Window with West-facing mountain views. Built in wardrobe with shelving, bedside tables. Ensuite bathroom with shower over the bath, washbasin, toilet, window and heated towel rail. First floor.

Bedroom 5: Double bed or 2 single beds with window with mountain view and skylight in sloping ceiling. Built in wardrobe with shelving, bedside table. Ensuite shower room with large shower, washbasin, toilet, window and heated towel rail. Third floor.

Location

Chalet Neus is situated in Tignes Les Brevieres at an altitude of 1550 metres. Tignes Les Brevieres is a high altitude resort and has an excellent snow record. Thanks to it’s altitude and the aspect of it’s slopes, it has always been possible to ski from and back to the village all winter (from mid December to the last week of April) for all of the 21 years we have been in Tignes. Tignes Les Brevieres is well linked with all the other Tignes resorts, and neighbouring Val D’Isère.

The chalet has a spectacular location 175 metres from a short bubble lift on a monorail which takes you to the main lift and the foot of the beginner slope (Pitots), a blue slope (Myrtilles), a red slope (Pavot) and a black slope (the infamous Sache). A modern fast 8-person bubble lift (Brevieres Telecabine) whisks you (3 minutes) to the Boisses Telecabine in Tignes 1800 linking (6 minutes) with two chairlifts (fastest is 5 mins), both giving access to Tignes Le Lac via a blue slope (Rhododendron then Petit Col) or a red slope (Bluets). The new Brevieres Telecabine connects Tignes Les Brevieres with Tignes Les Boisses and it’s beginner slope. At the end of the day you can take the short bubble lift on a monorail from the main lift station to within 175 metres of Chalet Neus.

Tignes Les Brevieres is linked to other Tignes villages during the day by a brand new gondola (Brevieres) then a free resort shuttle bus from Tignes 1800, meaning non skiers can get around independently.

The chalet is 375 metres from the centre of Tignes Les Brevieres where you will find cafes, bars, restaurants, a supermarket, bakery, newsagents, post office, cash machine, tourist office, ski school and ski and snowboard shops.

Facilities

Cuisine:

Breakfast, afternoon tea, and four course evening meal with wine included, followed by coffee.

Breakfast

Start the day with a satisfying breakfast including eggs, porridge, freshly baked croissants, cereals, yoghurts, French bread and fruit juice, all topped off with English tea, fresh coffee and hot chocolate.

Afternoon Tea

Arrive home to the chalet after a day on the mountain and enjoy tea, coffee or hot chocolate with a freshly home baked cake beside the log fire. Also on offer are baguettes with butter and jam.

Evening meals

Your first evening starts with a welcome of Prosecco and canapés by the fireside.

Evening meals are four courses of hearty and delicious food with house red and white wine included, followed by coffee. We believe that as well as looking and tasting great, the food we serve should be filling and nutritious.

Two evenings each week, your chalet hosts are off. These 2 evenings are your opportunity to explore the local restaurants. We will be happy to book a table for you.

Ski, Snowboard and Boot Storage

For our Chalet Neus guests, we have ski lockers (with heated boot dryers) at the main ski lift (at the foot of the slopes) – so no walking in ski boots or carrying skis is necessary.

Simply leave Chalet Neus in normal footwear, stop off at the ski and boot lockers at the ski lift to put on your ski boots and collect your skis or snowboards. Reverse the instructions on the way home to the chalet after skiing.

In addition Chalet Neus has 2 secure ski/snowboard lockers with heated ski boot warmers which is located on the way (125 metres) from the chalet to the lift.

Car Parking

We have 2 free covered car parking spaces for Chalet Neus, 125 metres from the chalet (height restrictions apply - we have other outdoor parking without height restrictions which may be available, please ask).
