Property Description

Chalet Tarine is a wonderful 8 person chalet that's ideal for 2 family's or a small group of friends. There is a lovely large living room that's in two areas, one side there is a lovely log fire and tv (uk freesat and French channels) and the other side a space to read or chat in more peace. The dining table is more than large enough for 8 people. The kitchen area is lovely and modern with everything you should need and there is also a separate larder and laundry room. There are 2 double ensuite bedrooms and 2 twin rooms sharing a bathroom. All beds are of a good quality. The chalet also has a boot room with boot warmers in it.

If you want this chalet catered then we can certainly add that option. We only work with professional chefs, most of whom we have worked with for years. We give the chefs a very healthy budget so you really will not be disappointed. The catering includes 6 breakfast with hot option (on the chef’s day off items will be left out), 6 afternoon tea and cake and 6 3 course dinner with good quality wine. There would also be 2 mid stay cleans of the chalet.

Location

This chalet is based just below Meribel in a lovely quiet hamlet of chalets, access to the slopes is very easy via the free ski bus that stops about 2 minutes away from the chalet. The bus runs until around 12 at night. When conditions are good, it is also possible to ski to this hamlet down a Red run.

Facilities

Well equipped kitchen with several coffee option (percolator and Nespresso), large fridge and wine fridge. Also another separate fridge and freezer in the Larder room. There's also a washing machine and tumble dryer.

Living area has a log fire ( wood supplied) Free wifi throughout and TV's in all the bedrooms. the terrace area has a large gas Grill.

The Boot room has boot warmers in it. Although we do recommend to hire the ski lockers which are right by the main lift area in Meribel, this way there is no lugging around of equipment and also makes the end of the day options so much better as you are not worrying about ski gear and can get out of ski boots. The lockers have boot warmers in them and cost 78 euros per week for a x4 person locker.

House Rules

No Pets. No events. No smoking. No commercial photography. On departure the chalet must be left tidy as found and any moved furniture must be put back in their original position. If staying self catered, then all bins and recycling must be taken to the local bins, 2 minutes walk away and all dishes must be done (dishwasher loaded and started is ok).
