The popular Hotel Fahrenheit Seven was fully renovated for the 2016 and 17 winter season...and what a difference it has made. Expect a modern, vintage-style feel with a real focus on blending design, comfort and a touch of affordable luxury in the high altitude resort of Val Thorens.

Featuring ski-to-door access, this hotel is perfectly located at the foot of the slopes and is only a short walk from the resort centre. The hotel boasts 107 rooms and suites that are adapted to suit all group sizes, from couples and families to larger parties. Most rooms offer panoramic mountain views.

The hotel is bookable on a half board basis and we certainly recommend fuelling up for the day with the excellent breakfast buffet and treating yourself to dishes from the a la carte menu come evening. It offers two restaurants - La Rotisserie specialises in grilled meat dishes, whereas Le Zinc offers local cheese dishes. Food is served on the south-facing terrace during fine weather and there is also a bar featuring an open fireplace.

At the end of a day skiing, why not reward yourself with a trip to the hotel wellness area and enjoy the hot sauna and hammam or alternate on the cold ice bed, to revitalise your body Scandinavian style.
