Set over two floors, the accommodation at Helios View Lodge offers plenty of space for six guests, with three stylish bedrooms and two bathrooms.

As you enter the chalet, the view from the living area will take your breath away. In the winter, you can watch the skiers descend the Fernuy pistes from La Clusaz, and sweeping round to the lifts at La Balme and in the summer, the blue skies and green pastures are just as entrancing. Step out on to the balcony and soak up the sun or perhaps enjoy a barbecue or some stargazing.

There's plenty to see inside too. Soft squishy sofas are arranged to take in the view as well as the television, and although there's no fireplace, there's a very cosy atmosphere. The sleek modern kitchen with everything you need to prepare a hearty meal after a day in the mountains and a dining table carefully placed so that you can enjoy the mountains while you eat. A small, but steep staircase leads to a children's den on a mezzanine floor, enclosed by a wonderfully crafted screen of bent wood which sweeps down the staircase and into the living area.

After a day's skiing, you can step inside to remove your outdoor gear before racking your skis or heading to the ski room, which has a heated boot rack and a sanitising cupboard - hang up your clothes here and pick up them up perfectly fresh the next morning!
