The chalet is just 2km from the centre of the resort and the ski lifts, and the ski bus stops 300m from the door, giving you access to the wonderful skiing of the Portes du Soleil. And when you return at the end of the day, there's plenty of room to store your skis and boards, and a heated boot rack to ensure you're ready to go again the next morning.

And where better to relax and soothe those aching limbs than in the sauna or the outside hot tub? Watch the sunset, look for shooting stars or just relax in the warm water as the snow falls around you. There's a huge terraced garden too.

The chalet sleeps 14 guests in five en suite bedrooms - including a wonderful bunk room for six, which children will love! it has an en suite bathroom and plenty of place to play. The other four rooms all have kingsize beds and their own individual character. The master suite is particularly impressive - it's built on a mezzanine overlooking the living room, in amongst the roof beams.

There are several places to congregate in this spacious chalet, including a cosy TV area with a sofa and floor cushions, and another area with sofas, a wood-burning stove and incredible views - this is the perfect place to catch up with each other at the end of the day. The large kitchen, with a central island, has all the equipment you need to cook up a hearty feast or just a quick breakfast before you head out, and there's a large dining table where you can all eat together.

The chalet is set at the end of a private road which is kept clear of snow. There's plenty of parking, and a charging point for electric cars.
