Les Clochettes is our superior chalet in the charming and picturesque resort of Megeve, France. The chalet has just had a lovely new sauna installed, sleeps ten people in five bedrooms, each with ensuite bathroom and balcony. There is a huge sitting area complete with Satellite TV (British Freeview channels), music system, WIFI and dining room with spectacular view and a sunny terrace

If your party is larger, the chalet can be extended by a further two ensuite bedrooms by using the owner's apartment upstairs.

In the summer the Chalet is available on a self-catered basis for short breaks or whole week breaks on exclusive use (5 rooms).

We take great efforts to find the right people to look after you during your stay and priority is always placed on finding an excellent chef to provide superb food, whether it be a sumptuous cooked breakfast, a selection of home-made cakes for afternoon tea or a superb evening meal with wine. There will also be a chalet host to welcome you on your arrival with a glass of champagne and to ensure that your stay in the chalet is as comfortable as possible.

The chalet is very well situated next to our Chalet Hotel Sylvana, approximately three minutes walk from the Rochebrune cable car and you can ski back to very close by. It is a five minute stroll down into the centre of town.

Les Clochettes is available to book as a whole or on a room by room basis. Also for short breaks 3 nights or 4 nights Sun-Wed/Thurs and Wed/Thurs to Sun. Not all availability is shown so please call or e-mail for a quote. In the summer it is available from Saturday to Saturday and for short breaks too.

Location

The chalet is located in Megeve, one of France's best kept secrets. Megeve is a charming and picturesque village in an alpine style but has a huge ski area to satisfy any kind of skier. It is not designed for the mass market and has no huge hotels.

The skiing is varied with greens for beginners, easy blues and long winding reds through the trees for intermediate skiers and steeper black runs and plenty of off-piste for the more experienced. It is only 1hr1/4 from Geneva so transfer time is short and is next to Mont Blanc for stunning views!

During the summer, Megeve is beautiful with alpine walks, mountain biking, summer luge, horse riding, a great golf course, high ropes courses etc. If your taste run to a more relaxing holiday, why not explore the historic Calvaire pilgrims route, the farms where you can learn how to make cheese or the medieval village square and 13th century church.

Facilities

Superior chalet with five spacious bedrooms sleeping ten, with sauna. Can extend to sleep 15 in seven en-suite rooms. Beautiful sitting and dining area with lovely views over the valley. Fully qualified chef providing excellent food and chalet girl to ensure your stay is comfortable. Close to lifts, ski back to close to chalet and a five minute walk into the centre of town. Can be extended to accommodate 15 by using the Les Clochettes 2 bedroom apartment upstairs (with drop down sofa for 1 extra guest if required). Satellite freeview TV, DVD, music system and WIFI. Transfers to and from Geneva available.

We will provide maps and itineraries to help you make the most of your stay. At the moment we are unable to offer social skiing but we do try and put similar standard skiing guests in touch with each other so you can ski at your own standard and enjoy the mountains fully.
