Located at Courbaton Village, nestled in the forest close to Arc 1600, Chalet Petit Saint Bernard offers a cozy, warm Alpine atmosphere in a ski convenient location.

Courbaton is a 10-15 minute walk from the centre of Arc 1600, which has many shops, bars and restaurants. You will go past the bus stop for free shuttles to Arc 2000, Arc 1950 and Arc 1800.

In winter, in the mornings you can ski down to les Granges via the easy blue run ‘Bois de Saule’, to the mid-stop of the funicular which takes you up to Arc1600 in 4 minutes. Or you use our free ski shuttle bus. In the afternoon you ski to the door from Arc1600.

This self-catered chalet apartment offers 5 ensuite twin bedrooms (can be configured to doubles) and a Finnish sauna. A lovely open fire contributes to the Alpine, cozy atmosphere.
There is a fully equipped kitchen with fondue and raclette sets and a Nespresso machine. Free WiFi throughout the chalet and Chromecast on the living room TV.

Location

The village gave its name to the ski area that preceded Les Arcs - Courbaton 1750. But Courbaton's history goes back even further, having been developed from a farming hamlet in the 1950s to provide accommodation for workers building the huge Tignes-Malgovert hydroelectric scheme. When this was completed it became a winter and summer holiday resort for employees of EDF (Electricité de France) before passing into private hands about 10 years ago. Since then the main buildings have been carefully converted into high-quality chalets and apartments.
