Guest blog by Summit Special – exciting new adventure!

We are delighted to announce the beginning of an exciting new adventure for Summit Special in Les Gets. 

We are working with the owners of Chalet Gentiane and the fabulous 2 Michelin star Moor Hall Restaurant with rooms, in West Lancashire, to create a brand-new sumptuous boutique chalet-hotel, right in the heart of Les Gets.  

This amazing project will include:  

• 8 luxurious and spacious bedrooms, all with full en-suite facilities 
• Exclusive spa area including pool, sauna, ice room, hammam, massage room and gym
• Outdoor jacuzzi/hot tub
• Expansive roof terrace with views across the village to Mont Chery 
• Mezzanine bar area overlooking a large lounge area and separate dining space 
• Magnificent entrance hall and state of the art boot room

The project is a collaboration of some of the finest construction, architectural and design talent, all from the Les Gets/Morzine area. Marullaz Architecte are responsible for some of the most innovative building designs, and you can see examples of their work across the local area. Shep and Kyles have been responsible for some truly stunning chalet interiors and have gained an enviable reputation over the years. 

The building will be constructed by Grossent Janin who have been building fabulous properties throughout the alps for 70 years. 

We know that all the right people are in place to create something truly special. The building will sit proudly on the Route de Front de Neige, in the centre of the village, just a short walk to the main lifts on the Chavannes side of the resort. All of the resort’s bars, restaurants and shops are also within easy walking distance.

Chalet Gentiane is a beautiful 8-bedroom, 7-bathroom chalet that enjoys a superb location in the village of Les Gets. Just a 200-metre walk from the lifts, slopes and village centre. Our lounge/dining area is a beautiful space warmed by a large open log fire. A great place to relax together after an exhilarating day on the slopes.
